MEET THE CHAIRS
MARÍA TAIBO
Greetings delegates, welcome to the 2026 Mazapan Model United Nations. My name is Maria Taibo, this is my fourth year participating in the MUN conferences, but my first year serving as a chair. I am delighted to be your chair in the FAO committee, alongside my co-chairs Ivanna Herrero and Diego Ramirez.

DIEGO RAMIREZ
Welcome delegates to MMUN 2026! My name is Diego Ramirez, and I will be one of your chairs for this year’s FAO committee. I am 17 years old and currently a Senior at Mazapan School. This will be my fifth year participating in MMUN, and my first year being a chair. I look forward to meeting you all and making this year’s simulation an unforgettable experience for you all.

IVANNA HERRERO
Welcome, Delegates, to MMUN 2026! My name is Ivanna Herrero, I'm currently 17 and a senior at Mazapan, and it is my honor to lead this year's United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) with my fellow co-chairs. I have a passion for fashion & art, and this is my fifth year participating in MUN and my second year as a chair. I look forward to meeting all of you and hearing your insightful thoughts on this year's topics. Additionally, I am eager to make the most of this year’s MMUN with all of you.
